The World Bank has ranked Swaziland eighth of top 10 African countries suitable for doing business, APA can report on Saturday.The Washington-based institution says the regulatory environment is more conducive to starting and operating a local firm.
The rankings are determined by sorting the aggregate distance to frontier scores on 10 topics each with several indicators, giving equal weight to each topic.
The rankings for all economies are benchmarked for June 2015.
According to the World Bank, Swaziland is below Mauritius, Rwanda, Botswana, South Africa, Seychelles, Zambia, Namibia, Swaziland, Kenya and Lesotho.
