ATRAXX CP is a starting private equity firm targeting growth investment opportunities in East Africa, centred on Ethiopia. Our investments will be directed to ready-to-scale, medium-sized companies in the agro-industrial, light manufacturing, and logistics sectors – building the sectoral Champions of Tomorrow. The firm will launch its first fund during 2017 with a target size of 100 €M and a 200 €M hard cap. ATRAXX CP will make staged growth investments of 5-15 €M per opportunity, with room for a small number of exceptional growth investments with a ticket size around 1 €M. We have identified several promising potential investments in Ethiopia and are working to mature these, while at the same time reviewing opportunities in other East African countries.
